The inability to hear can affect every facet of a patient’s life. From driving or talking on the phone to avoiding large crowds, hearing loss will lead many people to become scared and withdrawn. Most people will struggle with a hearing condition for years before they seek treatment, allowing the condition to worsen and the person’s daily routine, social life, and even health to suffer.

At Atlantic Audiology, we begin to reverse the effects of hearing loss from your very first appointment. Our hearing testing services, hearing loss counseling, and hearing aid fittings are all performed by board-certified audiologists, allowing patients to get the best possible care for a wide variety of hearing loss types.

Full-Service Hearing Care for Wilmington Patients

In our Wilmington offices, our audiologists can perform audiologic testing and take the time to answer your questions and explain your results. If your condition could be corrected with a hearing device, we will walk you through our hearing aid options, helping you to select a device for your condition and lifestyle. Our Wilmington office is conveniently located in the Family Medical Center, which offers ample parking as well as many handicap-accessible spaces.

Our doctors of audiology provide:

  • Hearing Testing and Screening. Our audiologists offer comprehensive hearing testing and assessments for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. We guide patients through the hearing restoration process, and provide counseling and rehabilitation for those suffering from hearing loss.
  • Hearing Aid Devices. We carry many different types of behind-the-ear aids, in-the-ear devices, in-the-canal hearing aids, and completely-in-the-canal models. Our hearing aids are fitted by licensed audiologists, and we would be happy to provide you with custom-made hearing protection.
  • Hearing Loss CounselingVarious degrees of hearing loss can have profound effects on those suffering so we offer counseling to help you communicate as well as improve your hearing.
  • Tinnitus Evaluation and Relief. Tinnitus, also called head noise, is a common side effect of hearing loss. We can help relieve the ringing, whistling, whining, or buzzing sound that only you can hear.

We’re waiting to help you! Call us today to make an appointment at our offices.
